THE FIRST TEE
The First Tee is a youth development organization that enables kids to build strength of character while empowering them to take on new challenges.
On January 17, 2022 Dr. Lowry and her team participated in the 13th Annual Brittany & Friends Celebrity Pro-Am. The event was a huge success, allowing us and other participants to help in raising needed funds for First Tee, St. Petersburg!
TEAM SMILE | TAMPA BAY RAYS
Team Smile partners oral health professionals with professional athletic organizations to provide life-changing dental care to underserved children in our communities.
Children receive free dentistry, cleanings, fluoride, and oral health education in a fun and safe environment– An opportunity Dr. Lowry wouldn’t miss!
FLORIDA DENTAL ASSOCIATION | MISSION OF MERCY
This annual two-day dental clinic hosted by the Florida Dental Association and Mission of Mercy provides free dental cleanings and services to underserved and uninsured people in Florida. This event helps adults and children who would otherwise go without care receive the dental treatment they need to sustain a healthy lifestyle. Dr. Lowry believes in equal access to oral care and is proud to participate in this annual event!
JUNIOR LEAGUE OF ST. PETERSBURG
This non-profit gives women the opportunity to serve the community of St. Petersburg. JLSP's goal is to give the youth of our community access to health, literacy, and nutrition through various free events.
Dr. Lowry has volunteered as a dentist during the annual "Care Fair" as well as given her time as Chair for one (of two) of their annual fundraisers.
GIVE KIDS A SMILE
The Pinellas County Department of Health partners with the Pinellas County Dental Association to provide free dentistry to children in our community. Children and teens receive exams, x-rays, cleanings, sealants and fillings at no cost to them. Oral health is important, especially for children, making this a very important cause to Dr. Lowry!
MISSION TRIPS
Dr. Lowry has gone on dental mission trips to Guatemala, Dominican Republic, and Nicaragua since she started in the dental field.
The happiness she saw in the families she treated while abroad, although having minimal access to care and limited materialistic items, has built a foundation of gratefulness and simplicity in Dr. Lowry’s life.
