Nitrous Oxide Sedation

Nitrous Oxide, commonly known as laughing gas or happy gas, helps to reduce the feelings of pain or anxiety during cleanings or dental procedures. Because Dr. Lowry puts such a strong emphasis on patient care and comfort, we offer Nitrous Oxide Sedation as an option for all dental procedures. 

Nitrous Oxide is a safe and effective means of managing pain or anxiety during dental procedures. This gas is not intended to put you to sleep, however, you should expect to feel very calm and comfortable. You will be able to hear, respond and engage with Dr. Lowry, and the effects of nitrous oxide will wear off as soon as the mask is removed.
